At the Rose City Show,
Portland, OR, in 1995 for Aura’s & Calico’s first Show, we
threw caution to the winds and entered “Aura” in advanced.
At the end of the Show “Aura” won her first NCS Best-in-Show
under J. Kruger and then defeated over 399 total birds in
competion to win Best Bird in Show. Interestingly, “Bart’s”
mother was 2nd BiS.
“Aura” is the dam of 2 GChs. One is
16P 71 ‘98, Cin/Pied, winner of the 1999National Cage Bird
Best-in-Show & the Kellogg Trophy. The other is 16P 171 ‘97,
Cin Prl/WF & the Dam of 2 GChs.
“Aura” has passed on her substance, magnificent head and
eye, plus other essential qualities to Calico through her
children and grand-children. She is dominant for her best
qualities.
