Ch 40B 83 ‘93 is the Sire of 11 Grand Champions & 12
Champions. He & his extremely successful progeny, are the
backbone of Calico Cockatiels. “83 ‘93” combined with 16P 43
‘95, Dam of 10 Grand Champions, produced the “Albino” , 2000
& 2001 Winner of the National Cage Bird Show, and the ‘03
NCS Specialty Winner and many other Grand Champions & Best
in Show winners.
I originally
purchased another Calico foundation Sire, 40B 110 ‘93 from
Lloyd Bailey specifically to breed to my beautifully marked
& colored Bob Cape Pieds. These pairings were all that I
hoped for but I needed a truly manificent cock bird to breed
to my splits. Lloyd offered me three; one for $250, one for
$350 & 83 ‘93 for $750. $750 for a non-Grand Champion
without a very impressive show record was at the very top of
the price range at that time . Relying solely on Lloyd’s
reputation & recommendations I decide to go for broke & buy
the best I could. History tells me that this was the right
decision & 83 ‘93 has proven his worth over and over again.
His 11 Grand Champions, “The Albino” & other progeny of
great success speak for him & themselves. In addition he has
an incredible temperament, is a great parent & mate and is a
good natured easy doer.
83 ‘93 is the Sire of
16P 188 ‘96 who in turn is the sire of the 2005 National
Cage Bird Show Best in Show. We derive great pride in
excellent quality holding solid through generation after
generation in our breeding lines. |
