One of most significant
Calico Cockatiels is clearly 16P 45 95. She is the daughter
of 40B 110 93 and the Dam of 10 Grand Champions & Champions
including 3 NCBS Best in Show Winners: 2000,2001 & 2003.
At the time that we acquired 40B 110
93 we were fortunate to have a young hen from Bob Cape of
good quality and color. However her most valuable attribute
had to be her nearly perfect pied markings. This pairing
produced 16P 43 95 and the beginning of Calicos long line
of top winning excellent quality Pieds.
16P 43 95 established
by her top winning children and grand children that she
possessed the most desirable genetics and passed them on.
Her record of 3 NCBS Best-in-Show winners and 10 Grand
Champions may well be unsurpassed.
An
interesting connection for 43 95 is that in addition to be
the Dam of 3 NCBS BiS Winners, she is the Dam of 16P 188
96, the Sire of the 2005 NCBS Best in Show winner.
